Charleigh Brewer of Wessington advanced to the short go in 15-and-under goat tying during the Vegas Toughest World Finals on Dec. 10 in Las Vegas. She also qualified to compete in the 15-and-under breakaway and 19-and-under barrel racing.
More than 1,300 contestants from three nations and 39 states competed in the event, with Brewer being the only one from South Dakota.
