Brady Schutt, age 34, of Huron

HURON Brady Schutt, age 34, of Huron, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at his home unexpectedly.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 28, at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Huron. Visitation, with his family present, will be from 5 to 7 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 27, at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Huron. A scripture service will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening at the church.

Brady William was born Aug. 31, 1990, to parents Robert and Bernadine (Waldner) Schutt in Huron. Brady joined big brother, Brad, and was raised in Huron, attending Huron schools. He enjoyed sports and played middle school football. He was most importantly a proud Huron All-Star, playing hockey from mini mites through high school days.

Brady held different jobs during his life, including HMMI, Lewis Drug, Farmers Edge, Taco Johns, McDonalds, Pullman Well Drilling, Dakota Conservation with his brother, and most recently at AA Motorsports. He enjoyed his time at AA and was loved by his co-workers and customers. When he wasnt working, Brady loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew they were his world. He rarely missed any of their events. Brady had a love of Ford Mustangs and his dog, Wookie.

He enjoyed listening to music, and looked forward to the Shangri-La Music festival in Harmony Park, Minnesota every year.

Brady recently became a Catholic and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Bernie Schutt of Huron; his brother, Brad (Angie) of Huron; his nieces and nephew, Emily, Landon, Ellowyn, Lydia and Elizabeth Schutt, all of Huron; his grandmother Linda McCoy of Huron; Aunt Becky Rose of Iowa, Aunt Clara (Terry) Crater of Cavour, Uncle George (Susan) Wallenstein of Worthing, S.D., and Uncle Kenny Wallenstein of Huron; several cousins and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Bernard Waldner, step-grandfather, Richard McCoy, and grandparents Carl and Alice Schutt.
