WHITE – The Deubrook Area Dolphins shut out the James Valley Lady Vikings 25-0 in the first quarter en route to a 65-6 victory Friday at Deubrook Area High School.
Twelve Dolphins reached the scorebook as Deubrook Area moves to 7-2. Clare Jorenby was the lone Dolphin in double figures with 15 points.
Autumn Stahl had three points to pace the Lady Vikings, who fall to 0-5.
JVC will host Oldham/Ramona-Rutland on Tuesday.

HOWARD Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, which is ranked fifth in Class B, pulled away in the second half for a 52-38 victory against Howard on Thursday.
After leading 21-20 at the half, the Lady Blackhawks went on a 23-8 run in the third quarter to build a 44-28 lead.
Alexa Goertz had 20 points, including five of the teams 12 three-pointers in the game, to lead Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, which improved to 5-2. Liz Boschee had 10 points, while Kaylie Robinson and Kalie Hofer had nine and seven points, respectively.
Robinson also had team highs for the Lady Blackhawks with eight rebounds eight steals and four assists.
Ann Connor had a game-high 23 points to lead Howard, which is now 1-8.
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will host Kimball/White Lake on Tuesday in Woonsocket. Howard travels to play De Smet on Tuesday.

MELLETTE The Northwestern Wildcats snuck away with a 43-42 victory over the Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots Thursday in Northwestern High School.
The Wildcats move to 4-1 behind 11 points and 10 rebounds from Ashley Haven.
The Lady Patriots fell to 4-4 despite 15 points from Cambree Hoekman on five three-pointers and 14 points and seven rebounds from Katelyn Schroeder.

MILLER Wessington Springs, which received votes in the Class B boys basketball rankings, recorded a 57-39 victory against Sunshine Bible Academy in a 281 Conference matchup on Thursday.
Using a 22-9 run in the third quarter, the Spartans opened a 52-33 lead.
Parker Graff had a game-high 30 points, including all four of the teams 3-pointers, to lead Wessington Springs. Colby Flowers also reached double figures with 11 points and had 13 rebounds.
Karter Mebuis had three assists for the Spartans, who are now 4-1, while Wesley Molnar had six steals.
Jerome Big Eagle led SBA with nine points and nine rebounds. Trey Thieman had six points, while Owan Watson and Isaac Hague each had five points.
The Crusaders, who are now 0-4, travel to play Lower Brule on Tuesday.

LAKE PRESTON The Deubrook Area Dolphins fell behind the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks 24-9 after the first quarter, but outscored the Sharks 56-29 the rest of the way to come out with a 65-53 victory Thursday in Lake Preston.
The Dolphins (4-4) were led by Isaac Gass with 20 points. Braxton Bednarek added 15 points and Chance Schoenfeld had 13 points for Deubrook Area.
The Sharks fell to 4-4 despite 20 points from Lucas Peskey. Peskey added six steals and three assists.Carter Arbeiter added 17 points and eight rebounds for the Sharks.

REDFIELD With three players in double figures, Britton-Hecla recorded a 74-49 victory against Redfield on Thursday.
The Braves led 32-25 at the half and widened their lead to 54-38 heading into the fourth quarter.
Jaxon Zuehlke had 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead Britton-Hecla, which improved to 4-2. Chaz Vietor had 12 points, while Daniel Person added 11 points.
Grady Hulscher had 16 points to lead three players in double figures for Redfield. Ethan Falk and Ruben Alveraz each had 13 points.
Falk also had a team-high 11 rebounds for the Pheasants, who are now 0-4.
Redfield hosts Miller on Tuesday.
