HURON The Huron wrestling team had a pair of victories in two duals held on Friday at Huron Arena against Mitchell and Brandon Valley.
Boys
The Tiger boys wrestlers earned a dramatic victory over Mitchell 39-38 after falling to Brandon Valley 60-15.
When Crayton Siedschlag got a reversal at the very end of his match against Mitchells Tayven Red Day at 138 pounds, he scored an 11-7 victory, and the three points he earned won Huron the match 39-38.
Siedschlag was one of two Tiger wrestlers to earn two victories, scoring a pinfall victory against Brandon Valley and a decision win against Mitchell at 138. Moses Gross won by forfeit against Mitchell and by technical fall against Brandon Valley at 157 pounds.
Carter Nelson picked up a major decision victory against Brandon Valley at 113 pounds, but he did not wrestle at the weight against Mitchell. Hurons Noah Hofer picked up a forfeit win at the weight against Mitchell.
Brady Meyer (132 pounds), TJ Lien (165), and Ben Cardona (190) each split their matches on the evening, with one win and one loss.
Girls
The Huron girls wrestlers defeated Mitchell 33-18 and fell to Brandon Valley 27-24.
Earning two victories on the night were Moo B Say, earning a pair of wins via pinfall at 120 pounds, Hsa Eh Wah at 126 with a 15-12 decision and a pinfall, and Say Glay with two pins at 132 pounds.
Chalie Sah (107 pounds), Reva McGaugh (114), Baw Eh (145), and Paola Fernandez (165) each had one win and one loss on the night.
