BROOKINGS With three goals in each period, the Brookings Rangers blanked the Huron All-Stars 9-0 on Friday.
Three of the goals for the Rangers came on power plays.
Brookings tallied 58 shots on goal in the game, with Huron goalie Jack Bales stopping 49 of them.
The All-Stars managed just four shots on goal.
With the victory, the third-ranked Rangers improved to 8-1.
Huron, which is now 0-10, travels to face Rushmore on Saturday and Sunday.

Brookings claimed a 4-2 win against Huron on Friday.
Both teams found the net once in the opening period.
Carlos Ardon had the goal for the All-Stars on a pass from Skyler Casper-Houghtaling, with 1:10 remaining in the period to even the score.
Brookings went back in front with the lone goal of the second period.
Huron answered with the first goal of the final period to pull even at 2-2. Alex Timm scored on an unassisted shot for the All-Stars.
The score remained tied until the Rangers scored on a power play with 32 seconds remaining in the game. They then capped the scoring with a goal in the final second.
Kaleb Rashaad had 41 saves in the net for Huron. The All-Stars, who are now 2-8, had 19 shots on goal.
