HURON Horizon Health is pleased to welcome Tia Chase, PA-C, as a new provider at its Huron clinic.
In Huron, Tia joins Patrick Koistinen, CNP, Ruth Lim, MD; Katie Stearns, CNP; Paul Brown, PA-C; and Amanda Adams, PA-C. She will work primarily in the Horizon Health Express Care clinic that opened in December 2024. The new acute care, walk-in clinic is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., five days a week.
Prior to joining Horizon, she practiced at the Huron Clinic from 2019 to 2024. She is no stranger to the Horizon Health family having worked at Horizon Health Wessington Springs from 2017 to 2018. She is originally from Huron and looks forward to continuing to serve patients in her local community.
I am happy to be working with Horizon as part of a great team to provide honest and trustworthy care to my hometown, Tia said. Quality care is a cornerstone of a healthy community.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from the University of Sioux Falls in 2015. She continued her education in 2017 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of South Dakota.
My focus is on offering healthcare that is both accessible and deeply rooted in respect for each individual and family we serve, Tia said.
She and her husband Derek have three children, Holden, Emilyn and Brielle. When not busy seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors at a local lake.
