Kingsbury County wins title at own invitational
ARLINGTON Kingsbury County won two individual titles en route to claiming the championship at the Kingsbury County Invitational on Saturday.

The Knights accumulated 238.5 points to claim the team title in the 14-team event. Canby (Minn.) was second at 173.5, while Sioux Falls Washington was third at 167.5.

Rounding out the top five were Redfield at 162.5 and Groton Area at 153.5.

Winning individual championships for Kingsbury County were Cody Zell at 126 pounds and Gannon Gilligan at 132.

Chase Henricksen at 106 and Greyson Nielson at 144 were second for the Knights.

Finishing third were Rogan Albrecht at 120, Lane Albrecht at 132, Sutton Murphy at 138, Blake Jennings at 150, Donovan Sandven at 157 and Marshall Holz at 190.

Breyten Johnson was fourth for Kingsbury County at 215, while Karsen Lerwick at 120 and Caden Singrey at 138 were fifth. Kayne Hanson was sixth at 157.

Redfield had three individual champions with Maddon Odland at 106, Conner Zens at 138 and Camden Murray at 215 winning titles.

Chace Odland at 113 and Dylan Murray at 190 were second for the Pheasants. Collin Dean was third at 165 and Dalton Rathjen was sixth at 285.

Clark/Willow Lake second at Little B Tournament in Parkston
PARKSTON With five individual champions, Clark/Willow Lake finished second at the Little B Tournament on Saturday.

Parkson amassed 232.5 points to win the 15-team event, while the Cyclones were second at 172. Miller/Highmore-Harrold was third at 159, followed by Mt. Vernon/Plankinton/Corsica-Stickney at 108.5 and Webster Area at 106.5.

Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington was 11th at 71.

Winning championships for Clark/Willow Lake were Cade Gaikowski at 106 pounds, Kaden Wookey at 113, Cooper Pommer at 120, Elliot Bratland at 165 and Josh Kannegieter at 190.

Benny Pommer was second for the Cyclones at 106, while Kooper Wookey at 113 and Isaac Johnson at 132 were fourth. Austin Vig was fifth at 144.

Talon Ping at 126 and Kellan Hurd at 144 were second for Miller/Highmore-Harrold. Preston Aesoph at 113, JD Chavez at 126, Chase Hurd at 132 and Colby Kolda at 175 were third.

Finishing fourth for the Bandits were Jaymin VanDerWerff at 120 and ordan Schafer at 138. Will Hosman was fifth at 106 and Johnny Alpizar was sixth at 150.

Jacksen Carter at 132 and Holden Havlik at 215 won individual championships for Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington.

Ethan Rearick was fourth for the Warhawks at 144.
