HURON The Huron Public Library is excited to announce the Toy Lending Library of South Dakota is available to check-out! The toy boxes are a collaborative partnership lead by Rhonda Kludt and the Preschool Partnership. Due to their efforts, it is possible for Huron to experience the benefits of the Toy Lending Library.
The Toy Lending Library (TLL) is located in Sioux Falls. Their location houses more than 1,600 toy boxes to check out free of charge. Due to the collaborative partnership, Huron receives approximately 20-25 toy boxes per month. The totes are delivered by Peoples Transit. All toy boxes returned are cleaned and sanitized by the TLL Team. This opportunity is available for you to check out!
The Toy Lending Library of South Dakota creates an opportunity for children 0-5 years old to enhance their learning development through play. According to the Toy Lending Library, When you play whether its a physical activity or playing sports, painting or drawing, building blocks or simply laughing with others it reinforces patterns in your brain, optimizing the learning process, and improves your emotional well-being.
