BROOKINGS Brookings recorded a sweep against the Huron eighth-grade boys basketball teams on Tuesday.
The Bobcats won the A-game 59-10.
Zevyn Tipton led the Tigers with six points, while Lincoln Goehner had two points.
Brookings inked a 60-21 win in the B-game.
Nick Mittelstedt had eight points for Huron, while Jeremiah Notario had three points.
Arrows sweep eighth-graders
WATERTOWN Watertown recorded a sweep against Hurons eighth-grade boys basketball team on Thursday.
The Arrows won the A-game 42-13.
Jim Wah had five points to lead the Tigers. Billy Tun, Zevyn Tipton, Nick Mittelstedt and Braden Block each had two points.
Watertown inked a 38-24 win in the B-game.
Hei Soe led the Tigers with nine points. Tun had seven points, while Aom Hongsar and Tipton each had three points.
