HURON The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawks, receiving votes in the most recent Class B poll, jumped out to a 40-4 lead at the end of the first half on the way to a 55-15 win over the James Valley Christian Lady Vikings in regular season 281 Conference action at JVC gym on Tuesday.
Kaylie Robinson led the Blackhawks, now 16-3, with 16 points, five rebounds and four steals. Alexa Goertz had nine points and three assists while Liz Boschee added eight points and five steals.
The Vikings (0-17) were led by Rylin Wipf and Janiyah Waldner with four points apiece.
The Lady Blackhawks close their regular season Thursday against Iroquois/Lake Preston in Lake Preston. The Lady Vikings travel to Wessington Springs in their regular season finale on Friday.

IPSWICH The Highmore-Harrold Pirates snapped a two-game losing streak by piling on 27 points in the fourth quarter to come away with a 63-58 victory over the Ipswich Tigers Tuesday in Ipswich.
The Pirates move to 14-5 behind a dominant night from Jada Baloun, who scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Addison McDonnell added 12 points and also grabbed 10 rebounds while swiping five steals.
Autumn Fallis chipped in 11 points for Highmore-Harrold.
The Tigers (10-9) were led by 24 points from Gabby Wald. Tristan Geditz came off the bench to secure six rebounds and dish out five assists.
Highmore-Harrold hosts Miller to close out the regular season on Thursday.

The Wildcats move to 13-5 behind 13 points from Adriana Ratigan and 10 points and nine rebounds from Ashley Haven.
The Pheasants fall to 2-17.
Hayden Gall led Redfield with 10 points and Charli Jungwirth hauled in five rebounds.
Redfield will host Tiospa Zina on Friday to close the regular season.

TULARE Using a 14-1 run in the second quarter, Hitchcock-Tulare recorded a 45-20 victory against Aberdeen Christian on Monday.
After leading 10-9 at the end of the opening quarter, the Knights would manage just six points during the next two quarters, as Hitchcock-Tulare built a 35-16 advantage heading into the final quarter.
Katelyn Schroeder and Cambree Hoekman had 12 and 11 points, respectively, to lead the Lady Patriots, who are now 9-10. Rebecca Huizenga and Emmerie Arthurs each added eight pionts.
Ari Johnson and Sophia Eichler had six points each for Aberdeen Christian, which is now 0-18.
Hitchcock-Tulare travels to play Wolsey-Wessington in a 281 Conference matchup on Thursday.

HURON Jerrad Wallman opened with 10 points in the first quarter on the way to 32 in the game to lead the James Valley Christian Vikings over the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawks in 281 Conference action Tuesday at the JVC gym.
The Vikings jumped out to a 23-15 lead after one quarter and essentially maintained that same lead the entire game through. Both teams come out of the game with 11-7 records.
Along with Wallmans big game, the Vikings also got 17 points, including five three-point baskets, from Jayven VanScharrel.
The Blackhawks employed a balanced scoring attack that saw six players score at least eight points. Landon Jensen led SC/W with 14 points.
McCoy Schulz and Grant Edwards each added 12 points.
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket travels to Lake Preston to face Iroquois/Lake Preston Thursday while the Vikings travel to Wessington Springs Friday.

KIMBALL – The No. 4 Wessington Springs Spartans pulled off their 16th win of the season, 61-37, over the Kimball/White Lake WiLdKats.
Wessington Springs move to 16-2 behind 17 points and six rebounds from Colby Flowers. Parker Graff chipped in 12 points and Karter Mebius added 11 points.
The WiLdKats fell to 4-13. No individual statistics were available.
The Spartans host James Valley Christian Friday.
Aberdeen Christian 66, Hitchcock-Tulare 38
TULARE Aberdeen Christian outscored Hitchcock-Tulare 16-4 in the third quarter en route to a 66-38 victory on Monday.
The Knights, who improved to 13-4, led 15-6 after the opening quarter and 27-17 heading into the second half.
Brooks Jett had 18 points to lead three players in double figures for Aberdeen Christian. Luke Kaiser had 12 points, while Ethan Biel had 10 points.
Briggs LaBrie led Hitchcock-Tulare with nine points, while Patrick Maynard and Aiden Frankenstein each had seven points.
The Patriots travel to face Wolsey-Wessington in a 281 Conference matchup on Thursday.

CLEAR LAKE Deuel pulled away in the second half for a 56-26 victory against Redfield on Monday.
After building a 31-19 lead at the half, the Cardinals (12-6) led 39-24 heading into the final quarter and held Redfield to just two points in the final eight minutes.
Gabe Sather had 14 points to lead four players in double figures for Deuel. Caden Finnestand had 12 points, followed by Jaxon Peterreins with 11 points and Caleb Ronne with 10 points.
Sather also had a team-high 12 rebounds for the Cardinals.
Grady Hulscher was the lone player to reach double figures for the Pheasants, who are now 1-15, with 11 points. Ruben Alvarez had eight points and six steals.
