PIERRE Kingsbury County finished sixth at the Class B State Dual Championships, which were held Saturday in Pierre.
The Knights suffered a 49-19 setback against Winner in the opening round, but rebounded with a 42-27 victory against Clark/Willow Lake in the consolation semifinals.
Parkston inked a 45-29 victory against Kingsbury County for the consolation championship.
Philip/Kadola Area/Wall recorded a 45-24 victory against Clark/Willow Lake in the opening round.
Canton used a 50-16 victory against Winner to claim the Class B title, while Philip/Kadoka Area/Wall edge Bon Homme/Avon 39-33 for third place.
Class A
Sturgis used a 39-14 victory against Aberdeen Central to win the Class A State Dual Championship. Rapid City Sevens edged Brandon Valley 38-25 for third place, while West Central slipped past Harrisburg 37-34 for the consolation championship.
