SIOUX FALLS Miller cross country and track and field coach Tom McGough and former Yankton football coach Arlin Likness will be inducted into the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame during the NHSACA National Convention on June 24 at the Ramkota Hotel in Rapid City.
McGough and Likness were selected for the national honor by the South Dakota High School Coaches Association.
Miller volleyball coach Linda DeBoer was named as a 2025 NHSACA Coach of the Year finalist from South Dakota and will be honored during the National Awards Banquet at the NHSACA 60th Annual Conference on June 25 in Rapid City.
Other Coach of the Year finalists are Jason Wagoner of Sioux Falls efferson (boys cross country); Misty Larson of Chester Area/Pieer (boys track and field); esse Coy of Rapid City Stevens (girls cross country); Rachelle DeBeer of Deubrook (girls track and field); Les Coin of Sioux Falls Lincoln (gymnastics); Pat Molle rof Mitchell (tennis); Lance Pearson of Rapid City Central (wrestling); Steph Daly of Aberdeen Central (girls assistant coach); and Craig Nowotney of St. Thomas More (boys assistant coach).
