HURON The Chameleon Princess, James Valley Christians one-act play, earned a Superior at the State One-Act Play Festival held at SDSU on Feb. 6-8.
Elaina Hohm, Jonathan Koel, Belle Niederbaumer, Nastasia Scholl, and Sylenea Scholl each received a Superior Performer Award. Rebecca Stahl, Hope Mendel, Micaiah Brantner, Elisabeth Hamilton, Emily Schutt, Audri Hohm, Ally Hohm, and Giddeon Waldner earned Superior Ensemble Awards.
In addition, the play got a technical award for excellence in costumes, set, lighting, and effects. Olivia Knutson and Grace Wipf, light and sound operators, accepted that award. Mrs. Mendel and Mrs. Niederbaumer directed the students.
