WAGNER Miller/Highmore-Harrold qualified seven wrestlers for the Class B State Tournament on Saturday during the Region 3B Tournament.
Winner claimed the Region 3B team title with 217 points, while Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes was second at 196.
Rounding out the top five were Bon Homme/Avon at 183, Parkston at 157.5 and Miller/Highmore-Harrold at 124.5.
Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington, which had two state qualifiers, was seventh at 98.5, while Sunshine Bible Academy was 10th at 18.5.
Talon Ping at 126 pounds and Kellan Hurd at 144 won individual championships for Miller/Highmore-Harrold.
Preston Aesoph at 113, Jaymin VanDerWerff at 120 and Colby Kolda at 175 were third for the Bandits, while Chase Hurd at 132 and Jordan Schafer at 138 were fourth.
Jacksen Carter at 132 and Holden Havlik at 215 claimed region championships for Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington.
Just missing state berths, which went to the top four finishers in each weight class, for the Warhawks were Chase Dunsmore at 120 and Ethan Rearick at 144, who were both fifth. Ashton Hill at 138 and Jaspur Gran at 285, who both finished sixth.
Jimmy Burma qualified for state for Sunshine Bible Academy, finishing fourth at 215.
Lucas Nelson was sixth for the Crusaders at 120.
The Class B State Tournament begins Thursday at runs through Saturday at the Monument in Rapid City.
