HURON Brookings scored six goals in the opening period en route to a 12-0 victory against the Huron All-Stars on Saturday at Bergman Arena.
The Rangers, who improved to 18-4, outshot Huron 61-4 in the game.
Jack Bales recorded 49 saves in the net for the All-Stars, who ended the season at 3-19.
Aberdeen 5, Huron 4
Aberdeen edged the Huron All-Stars 5-4 on Friday at Bergman Arena.
The All-Stars scored the first two goals and carried a 3-1 lead into the final period.
Mason Hunter had the lone goal by either team in the opening period, scoring on a pass from Elliot Hartman.
An unassisted goal by Jack Pedersen put Huron ahead 2-0 in the second period.
Despite being shorthanded, Aberdeen put its first goal on the board just under a minute and a half later to pull back to within a goal.
Ryder Casper-Houghtaling found the net for the All-Stars to put them in front 3-1 with 3:58 remaining in the second period. He was assisted on the play by Jaxon Greenfield and Monte Bogh.
Aberdeen would rally in the third period with four goals, including the game-winner, which came on a power play with 57 seconds remaining.
Skyler Casper-Houghtaling had the lone goal of the final period for Huron. Alexander Timm and Hunter combined for the assist.
Jack Bales had 33 saves in the net for the All-Stars.
