HURON Huron, which put together a 14-6 record this season, will be the No. 5 seed for the Class AA boys SoDak 16.
The Tigers will host No. 12-seeded Sturgis, which is 9-11, at 6 p.m. Saturday at Huron Arena.
Sioux Falls Lincoln (19-1) holds the top seed for the Class AA SoDak 16 and will host No. 16 Yankton (5-15) on Saturday.
In the other SoDak 16 matchups on Saturday, No. 2 Brandon Valley (17-3) hosts No. 15 Pierre (6-14); No. 3 Harrisburg (17-3) hosts No. 14 Rapid City Stevens (7-13); No. 4 Mitchell (17-3) hosts No. 13 Rapid City Central (8-12); No. 6 OGorman (12-8) hosts No. 11 Sioux Falls Roosevelt (9-11); No. 7 Sioux Falls Washington (12-8) hosts No. 10 Sioux Falls Jefferson (9-10); and No. 8 Spearfish (13-7) hosts No. 9 Tea Area (10-10).
The winners of Saturdays games advance to the Class AA State Tournament, which is slated for March 20-22 in Rapid City.
Girls
With a 7-13 record, Huron will be the No. 13 seed for the Class AA girls SoDak 16.
The Tigers will travel to face fourth-seeded Rapid City Stevens at 6 p.m. MT on Friday.
OGorman, which closed the regular season with a 20-0 mark, is the top seed for the Class AA SoDak 16 and will host No. 16 Sturgis (10-10) on Friday.
