Eighth-graders compete in Big 4

BROOKINGS The Huron eighth-grade boys basketball team suffered a pair of setbacks during the Big 4 Tournament on Thursday.

Brookings inked a 36-19 victory against the Tigers.

Josh Gilbert led Huron with 16 points, while Malcolm Williams added three points.

Mitchell emerged with a 49-39 victory against the Tigers.

Gilbert finished with 26 points to lead Huron, while Williams also reached double figures with 10 points and Zevyn Tipton had three points.
