To the editor:
One can only realize that the United States of America is now a country in Hospice mode – a democratic country that will never again be able to truly celebrate its 249th anniversary on July 4th, 2025.
What is at stake when the majority control of Republican-elected congressional members and leadership are letting this country sink into a regressive recession, simply because they believe that it is now the best time to invoke the authoritarian form of government that does not have to care on how they get there.
The Democratic party and a caucusing few who are in the minority of the federal government can only watch in disarray and somehow would publicly like to show some curtailing achievement.
The solution is that is to include the rural red states that have cast the highest per capita votes for this insane Republican leadership. Were the Democratic leadership in each state to politely ask those loyal party members and MAGA supporters to go to their respective county auditors offices and immediately, temporarily switch parties, especially before the mid-term elections.
Why? Because this is the only way anyone the majority side of the aisle will be brought to the attentive needs of the working class and farmers and ranchers who are being taken on a blind date again with the taxpayer disaster leadership-caused payments, as a false care package, over the earned free market prices. That is proposed by the hatefulness shown against our best trading partners and former allies with those personally-threatening proposed insane tariffs.
Just maybe this country must realize that to have true HOSPICE CARE is for those that have the power to help is to elect people that have experienced poverty at an early age.
