The Hand County Library was honored to receive the South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) Dianne Clement Gropper and James Gropper Hand County Library Endowment.
Diane and James of Huron, at left in the picture, attended the presentation of the check in conjunction with the Miller Area Foundation check presentations recently.
Accepting the check on behalf of the Hand County Library are Library Director, Hannah Caffee, and Library Board Vice President, Mike Donlin, shown at right.
Dianne grew up north of Miller and was employed by the library when it was located at the JC Penny building in downtown Miller. Thank you to Dianne and James for this endowment to support the Hand County Librarys large print, ebook, and audiobook collections.
