A Turkish proverb, and an American reality: when a clown moves into a palace, he doesnt become king. Instead, the palace becomes a circus.
Donald Trump outsourced his manufacturing to Mexico and China to keep from paying American workers a living wage. Now he wants manufacturing to return to the United States.
He hired undocumented immigrants to work on his properties. Now, he cares about legal immigration.
A judge ordered his administration to facilitate the return of a legal immigrant who was illegally swept up and sent to prison in El Salvador. When first asked, Trump had selective ignorance, claiming, I dont know anything about it.
Ask the people people who were there.
Dont be surprised when American citizens face the same hamhanded nonsense. This is a litmus test. The economy is slipping into a recession. Trump inherited the strongest economy in the world. He is responsible for seven of the worst stock market losses in American history. He put tariffs on penguins on an uninhabited island. This is self-inflicted vandalism.
Why couldnt the President of El Salvador include the wrongfully detained Maryland resident on his manifest when he met with Trump and bring him home?
Trumps failures: six bankruptcies, Trump steaks, news media, on the ocean, network, Tour de Trump, the New Jersey Generals, ice water, wine, Trump University, magazine, The Game, vodka, mortgage, airlines, clothing line, casinos, and cologne. Yet, he is the expert.
