SIOUX FALLS Miller junior Izaak Hunter and four area relay teams earned placings on Saturday during the final day of Howard Wood Dakota Relays
After qualifying for the finals in the 110-meter hurdles on Friday, Hunter turned in a time of 15.29 seconds to finish seventh in the finals on Saturday.
Hunter narrowly missed a placing in the 300 hurdles. He was ninth in the final standings with a time of 40.60 second.
Wolsey-Wessington used a time of 4:22.73 to finish third in the Class B girls medley relay on Saturday morning.
Running for the Warbirds were Riyli Peterson, Danika Peterson, Abby Huntsinger and Kendal Uttecht.
Wessington Springs was eighth in the Class B girls medley relay at 4:27.22.
Running for the Lady Spartans were Ashlyn Weber, Mariah Messmer, Logan Mohling and Kenzie Kolousek.
Clark/Willow Lake was third in the Class A girls medley relay with a time of 4:16.29. Running for the Cyclones were Madison Brenden, Johanna Vandersnick, Cadence Bochek and Kameryn Nesheim.
Sunshine Bible Academy was fifth in the Class B girls 1,600 relay with a time of 4:13.57. Members of the team were Tessa Hinman, Dakota Boersma, Ciera Mickelson and Abby Hinman.
