National Music Week observed with spring recital

The piano students of Beverly Bigge celebrated the first day of National Music Week by presenting a spring recital on May 4 at Hope Lutheran Church.

Piano students who study with Beverly Bigge received National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) gold cups. Students participating in the local Huron Junior Festival are required to memorize two pieces and perform them for an adjudicator. Points are accrued from year to year to earn cups.

Third gold cup (45 points):
Piano Solo: Elaina Hohm with nine consecutive superior ratings

Second gold cup (30 points):

First gold cup (15 points):
