MILLER With $1,000 on the line for the winner of the WISSOTA super stock feature race on Saturday at Miller Central Speedway, an expanded field was on hand for the event.
Trevor Nelson of Warner, who is the winningest driver in the division at the speedway, added to his total to pocket the top prize money.
Stewart Schipke, who started on the pole, was second, followed by Brad Kopecky of Miller. Rounding out the top five were Bryson North of Huron and Robin Schmitt of Redfield.
Broc Stout of Winner returned to victory lane in the WISSOTA street stock division on Saturday. He startedon the outside of the front row and held off Grady Myers of Winner for the victory in the 12-lap feature race.
Defending track champion Maria Broksieck of Goodwin was third, followed by Jayden Bogh of Huron and Michael Bogh of Huron in the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
A pair of Aberdeen drivers battledfor the win in the WISSOTA late model main event.
Josh Skorczewski emerged with the victory, while Mike Stearns, who had earned his first career late model win on Friday at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, was second.
Chad Becker of Aberdeen was third, followed by Curt Kranz of Watertown and Dustin Arthur of St. Lawrence.
Todd Stark of Watertown started on the pole and stayed out front to win the 12-lap WISSOTA Midwest modified feature race. Jayme Peterson of Highmore was second in the 11-car field.
Dawson Zabel of Selby gained four spots to finish third, while Lorin Johnson of Miller was fourth and Taylor Schmidt of Aberdeen was fifth.
Stearns secured the win in the 15-lap WISSOTA modified main event.
Dale Ames of Huron was second, followed by Adam Brotherton of Huron. James Hanley of Cresbard was fourth and Andy Brooker of Tulare was fifth.
Cody Songer of Wolsey claimed the win in the Pump-N-Pak pure stock feature race, whle Heath Hale of Highmore was second.
Racing will return to Miller Central Speedway on June 14, with all six classes in action.
