Legion Post 7 hosts Safety City

Huron Safety City, sponsored by the American Legion Post #7, concluded its class recently. During the week, 4 and 5 year old participants were taught different types of safety lessons. These included bus, 911, animal/pet, pedestrian, and personal/stranger danger safety. Community businesses and employees from HRMC, the Huron Police Department, True Reflections Counseling, Huron School District, and the Humane Society joined the classes to teach these safety topics.
