Hurons own Jamee Kattner was crowned Miss South Dakota on May
31, and she has had a whirlwind first month in her new role, spending time across the state, but also making appearances at multiple Huron-area events, such as Wheel Jam.
Kattner is hosting a walking taco fundraiser on Tuesday, July 1, at Faith Alive Church in Huron from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The fundraiser will
also have music and a silent auction.
All proceeds will go to support Jamees travel expenses as she travels to Orlando, Fla., to compete in the Miss America crown in September.
Donations can also be made via Venmo @Jamee-Kattner and at an account set up for Jamee at MO Credit Union in Huron.
