Almost 17 million thats how many words the students at Holy Trinity Catholic School read during the 2024-2025 school year for the Accelerated Reader Program!
This program allows students to test their comprehension over the books they read and earn points. Each student sets an individual reading goal each quarter and gets to participate in a classroom celebration when that goal is met.
They had all kinds of parties this year: tacos, pizza, ice cream, pajama and movie, a yes day, a candy salad party, Bluey day, board games, extra recess and free time.

This year students in first through fifth grade passed 3,057 reading quizzes!
The top readers in the school were Claudia, Jaylee, and Ryan. They also recognized the top reader in each classroom: Amber, GraceAnne, Marcella, Barrett, and Olivia. Top readers are shown in each picture.
