HURON The annual BelieveFest backpack giveaway is set for Saturday, August 9, beginning at 8 a.m., at Faith Alive Church parking lot.
Backpacks loaded with supplies for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade will be available while supplies last.
Cars will line up from the East entrance of the church, down 26th St. SE, and then continue down Frank Ave.
The backpack giveaway began in 2017 and annually serves more than 1,000 youth in the Huron area through volunteers and generous donations.
Children must be present.
