To the editor:
There is no credibility in the Attorney Generals office. They are investigating criminal sex trafficking perpetrated against young women. Pam Bondi alerted the President that his name was in the Epstein files.
First, they were excited to release the files. After Trump was informed about his involvement, they said we will release whatever we can.
The Deputy Attorney General interviewed Ghislaine Maxwell, trying to exonerate Trump. Its highly unusual to make a deal after incarceration. Maxwell is the second-worst sex trafficker in American history, after Epstein.
When asked in Scotland, Trump said he ended his friendship with Epstein long ago. Trump said that Epstein did something inappropriate, he stole my employees. When asked if some of them were young women, he eventually said yes. Thats admitting prior knowledge.
He also said that he didnt have the privilege to go to Epsteins private island. Thats Trumps takeaway. He didnt have the right to offend. He cant comprehend that a crime was committed.
Instead of investigating him, they run to him with information. The Speaker of the House recessed Congress early so the President could get out in front of this. There is no loyalty to the people nor the Constitution or the rule of law.
Trump is throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. It takes attention away from facts.
ICE agents stake out courthouses, detaining people for trying to do the right thing. Its akin to genocide. Blatently discriminating, hunting and stalking law-abiding people. The ignorance and hypocrisy is laughable, but the threat to democracy is not.
