Heartland 4-H Rodeo Ambassador contest

On July 18, there were six contestants for the Heartland 4-H Rodeo Ambassador Contest. They competed in impromptu speech, interviews, and horsemanship. All the contestants did a wonderful job competing.

This year the winners of the Heartland 4-H Ambassador Contest are:

Callie Hammerstrom is the 2025 Heartland 4-H Senior Ambassador. She is the 19-year-old daughter of Rick and Tracie Hammerstrom. During the rodeo weekend she competed in goat tying and barrel racing. She will be representing the Heartland Rodeo at the State 4-H Rodeo Finals.

Baylee Rostyne is the 2025 Heartland 4-H Junior Ambassador. She is the 13-year-old daughter of Ben and Katlyn Rostyne. Baylee competed in barrel racing, breakaway roping, flags, goat tying, and pole bending. Baylee had qualified to compete at state for barrel racing, pole bending, and the glag race.

Both of these ladies have ties to the Huron community and will represent the Heartland 4-H Rodeo as the Ambassadors. Good luck to both of them at state!
