HURON The James Valley Christian soccer team improved to 3-0 with a 3-2 victory against Freeman Academy on Tuesday at JVC Field.
The Vikings opened the season with 5-0 victories against Hot Springs and Custer on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
These boys gave it their all and came out on top, JVC coach Jory Wipf said of his teams effort on Tuesday.
Isaac Fast had the opening goal for the Vikings.
Freeman Academy went in front 2-1, but pair of goals helped JVC keep its unbeaten streak intact.
Gavin Waldner had the second goal for the Vikings with a header assisted by Keeghann Hood.
Fast turned in the game-winning goal for JVC, with his brother, Noah, assisting on the play.
Jonah Niederbaumer recorded the win in the net for the Vikings.
JVC will host Vermillion at noon on Saturday.
