HURON The Huron volleyball team went 1-3 during the Huron Invite, which was held Saturday.
The lone victory for the Tigers came against Douglas with set scores of 25-9 and 25-12.
Jaelee Olsen led Huron with six kills. Addyson Knight had three ace serves, while Hyton Heinz and Jencie Goergen each had seven digs.
Goergen also had a team-high 14 assists.
Chester Area used set scores of 25-19 and 25-17 to sweep the Tigers.
Aly Davis had six kills for the Tigers. Heinz recorded 17 digs and Goergen had nine assists.
After winning the opening set 25-23, Spearfish needed a 25-13 win in the third set to get past Huron 2-1. The Tiger forced the third set with a 25-22 victory in the second set.
Davis and Chloe Carr had seven and six kills, respectively, for Huron. Heinz tallied 31 digs.
Sioux Falls Lincoln also recorded a sweep against the Tigers, using set scores 25-21 and 25-18.
Davis led the way for Huron with six kills. Heinz had 11 digs, while Knight had nine digs.
The Tigers, who are now 2-3 overall, will travel to face Aberdeen Central at 2 p.m. Saturday.
