HURON James Valley Christian pushed its record to 5-0 with a 5-1 victory against Belle Fourche on Friday at JVC Field.
Five different players scored in the game for the Vikings.
Isaac Fast opened the scoring for JVC with a long-range shot 18 minutes into the game. Noah Fast found the net just three minutes later on a pass from Kolby VanDerWerff.
Skyler Thielbar had the final goal of the opening half for the Vikings during the 29th minute. VanDerWerff earned his second assist on the play.
Belle Fouche scored its lone goal 11 minutes into the second half to make it 3-1.
JVC added a pair of goals in the final 10 minutes of play.
Gavin Waldner scored on a pass from Carson Dorris and Keeghann Hood found the net on a header, with Noah Fast assisting on the play.
Jonah Niederbaumer tallied the win in the net for the Vikings, with 15 saves.
Belle Fourche, which is now 1-3, returned home to host Hot Springs in a matchup on Tuesday.
JVC returns to action at 5 p.m. Friday, when its hosts St. Thomas More at JVC Field.
The Vikings will then continue its homestand with a 4 p.m. game against Groton Area on Tuesday.
