The Huron Area Concert Association will once again present five concerts this year. HACA has been in existence since 1971 and works with Allied Concert Services out of Minneapolis to bring outstanding and time-worthy concerts to Huron. We have a reciprocity agreement with Mitchell and Pierre which means you can travel to all the concerts for one low, low price!
HACA has existed in Huron for over 50 years, and its mission is to cultivate interest in music, provide a variety of concerts in the Huron area and build a permanent concert audience. We are always looking for volunteers to help the cause.
The 2025-2026 season concerts include: M5 The Mexican Brass on Monday, Oct. 6; Best Friends Ron Parker & Ethel Nerland on Sunday, Oct. 26; AmeriCoustic Dan Miller on Thursday, Nov. 13; The Conjurors on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026; and The Suits on Monday, April 13, 2026. All concerts will be held at the James Valley Christian School auditorium. All concerts except Best Friends will be at the new time of 7 p.m. Best Friends will be at 3 p.m.
Tickets went on sale Tuesday, Aug. 5. You can get a season membership for only $60. A family membership is $130, and a student membership is $15 for high school and college students.
The HACA board is made up of Emma Tschetter, president; Deb Dixon, secretary; Susan Hines, treasurer; Ann Blondheim, membership; June Wipf and Betty Albright, business sponsors; Wilma Pageler, hospitality; Jessica Hotchkiss, volunteer coordinator; and Molly Lamont, publicity.
The number of concerts per season is based upon the income from membership sales and the cost for the musical performers. For more information or to volunteer, call Emma at 605-353-4839, or any of the board members.
