YANKTON With two of the top five golfers in the field, OGorman edged Harrisburg for the team title during the Yankton Invitational on Friday at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club.
The Knights finished 11 strokes over par at 299, which put them six strokes against of Harrisburg.
Sioux Falls Lincoln was third in the 16-team field with a 308, followed by Yankton at 319 and Brookings at 325.
OGormans Jayden Antonen was the lone player under par on Friday. He turned in a 5-under 67 to win the event.
Easton Vellek of Yankton, Connor Tank of Harrisburg and Tyson Blom of Sioux Falls Lincoln all had scores of 73 to share the second spot. Taten Mauney of OGorman and Riley Christensen of Harrisburg shared the fifth spot wit h scores of 74.
Emrick DeDeyne led Huron with a 96. Corbin Fuchs and Kaleb Rashaad had scores of 111, while Ryker Shelton rounded out the scoring lineup with a 117.
David Emmert finished at 121 for Huron.
The Tigers will be at the Brookings Invite, which begins at 10 a.m., on Monday.
