HURON The annual SHE Awards event will be taking place on Saturday, November 1, in Huron and this years event will be extra special.
This is the 10th anniversary of the SHE Awards, says Tasha Lee, Chairwoman for the Awards. For the last decade, weve had the privilege of honoring over 125 women and businesses who have made large contributions in the areas of community service, humanitarianism, leadership, and a commitment to the welfare of those who are underserved.
This will be the 10th and final year the Awards will be held.
Nomination categories are Community Service, Woman of Influence, Unsung Hero, Rising Star Scholarship and Empowering SHE.
The awards, which are sponsored by Avail Wealth Management LLC, will be held at the Huron Events Center. The event will start at 4:30 p.m. with a social and the awards ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.
