MILLER Miller recorded a sweep against Faulkton Area on Thursday.
The Rustlers claimed the match with set scores of 25-9, 25-12 and 25-18.
Paige Werdel had nine kills on 25 of 29 attacks to lead Miller, while Kate Lichty was 16 of 16 with seven kills. Kaihlyn Anderberg was 17 of 19 hitting with three kills, while Olivia Nye had three kills on 6 of 9 spikes.
Anderberg convertedon 21 of 23 serves with four aces and had 20 points. Paige Werdel had three aces on 10 of 10 serving, while Gracel Werdel was 9 of 9 with two kills and Jolie Palmer was 11 of 11 with an ace.
Gracen Werdel was 74 of 76 setting with 21 assists for Miller.
Palmer was 17 of 17 passing with 14 digs, while Anderberg was 10 of 10 passing with 12 digs. Paige Werdel and Emma Pugh had nine and seven digs, respectively.
Anika Mueller was 24 of 27 hitting with five kills for Faulkton Area, while Austina Sorensen had a pair of kills.
Claire Cotton was 9 of 10 serving for the Trojans , while Sorensen was 8 of 8. Cotton was also 69 of 69 setting with 11 assists.
Mueller tallied a team-high 12 digs, while Presleight Martinmaas and Mueller each had eight digs.
The Rustlers, who improved to 6-2, played in the Hamlin Invitational on Saturday.
Wolsey-Wessington 3, Aberdeen Christian 1
WOLSEY Using a 3-1 victory against Aberdeen Christian, Wolsey-Wessington earned its seventh straight win on Thursday.
The Lady Warbirds won the match with set scores of 30-28, 16-25, 25-23 and 25-19.
Maria Nelson and Timber Haeder finished with 15 and 13 kills, respectively, for the Lady Warbirds. Nelson was 38 of 40 hitting, while Haeder was 33 of 39.
Marley Boomsma added six kills on 14 of 16 spikes.
Taylor Eichstadt was 18 of 18 serving with an ace for Wolsey-Wessington.
Kendal Uttecht was 13 of 13 serving with an ace and Shae Uttecht was 14 of 15 serving.
Kendal Uttecht also was 118 of 118 setting with 32 assists.
Shae Uttecht was the defensive lead for the Lady Warbirds with 31 digs, while Kendal Uttecht had 17 digs and Eichstadt tallied 14 digs.
Preslie Jensen recorded four blocks, while Kendal Uttecht had three blocks.
Arianna Johnson led the way for Aberdeen Christian (3-4) with 24 kills. Sophie Glynn and Jolie Fogarty each had nine kills.
Fogarty and Payton Skarin each had a pair of aces, while Sawyer Schwan had an ace and had a team-high 38 assists. Skarin had 22 digs, while Johnson had three solo and two assisted blocks.
Wolsey-Wessington, which is 8-2, will host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday.
Wessington Springs 3, Crow Creek 0
WESSINGTON SPRINGS With set scores of 25-7, 25-13 and 25-10, Wessington Spring swept Crow Creek on Thursday.
Jewel McGeough had three kills for the Lady Spartans, who improved to 7-4, while Adi Orth had two kills.
Logan Mohling had 12 points, four aces and nine assists for Wessington Springs.
Kenzie Kolousek had 10 points and three aces, whileRemie Roduner had 12 digs.
The Lady Spartans host Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Monday.
Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Aberdeen Christian 1
ABERDEEN Hitchcock-Tulare, which received votes in the most recent Class B rankings, recorded a 3-1 victory against Aberdeen Christian on Tuesday.
The Lady Patriots won the opening set 27-25, but suffered a 25-22 set back in the second set.
After pulling out another 27-25 victory in the third set, Hitchcock-Tulare ended the match with a 25-15 win in the fourth set.
Rebecca Huizenga had 19 kills on 28 of 33 attacks to lead the Lady Patriots, who improved to 10-2. Cora Hofer was 34 of 37 hitting with 10 kills and recorded two solo and two assisted blocks.
Gracynn Bixer was 21 of 21 serving with two aces for Hitchcock-Tulare and was 119 of 119 setting with 36 assists. Cambree Hoekman was 21 of 22 serving with an ace and had a team-high 20 digs, while Olivia Knox had 18 digs.
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Wessington Springs 0
WESSINGTON SPRINGS Sanborn Central/Woonsocket recorded a sweep against Wessinton Springs in a 281 Conference volleyball matchup on Tuesday.
The Lady Blackhawks won the match with set scores of 25-13, 25-14 and 25-17 to improve to 7-5.
Liz Boschee and Addison Barthlow had 12 and 11 kills, respectively, for Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. Boschee also had five digs, four blocks and an ace, while Bartholow had 12 digs and a team-high six aces.
Kali Hofer had a team-high 20 digs, 14 assists and a kill, while Hudson Fouberg had 15 digs.
Kaitlyn Braun finished with four kills on 16 attacks for Wessington Springs, while Kendall Kolousek ad Logan Mohling each convertedn on seven serves.
Mohling also had nine assists on 69 sets for the Lady Spartans, who are now 6-4. Remi Roduner recorded 23 digs, while Kolousek had nine digs. Braun had a pair of blocks, while Brooklyn Caffee had a block.
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket played Oldham-Ramona-Rutland on Saturday in Rutland.
