Russian drones flew over Polish airspace. When advised, the President made no comment. Instead, he decided to have a walkabout, one block from the White House to prove his claim that restaurants were doing better than ever.
The press corps was already assembled for this stunt. Russia said it does not recognize borders. Trump failed this test miserably. Instead of figuring out retaliation with NATO, he did NOTHING.
Bad actors are taking notes. When you blow up a boat in international waters then you claim it was carrying illegal drugs without due process or without trying to apprehend those on board, you make it fair game for every rogue nation to make that claim and put our sailors and ordinary fishing vessels at risk. It sets a dangerous precedent for a criminal act.
The Epstein files should be released in their entirety. These young women risked revictimization and/or bodily harm so we can know the truth.
Trump is an adjudicated sex offender. The content of his character is in the 34 felony convictions. He supports the idea of white nationalism while simultaneously taking away employment and rights of women and people of color.
Hes disappearing people to different countries. Thats abhorrent and further divides the country.
We have to get back to respecting human rights and restore human dignity by appealing to our better angels. That takes a certain level of courage.
