HURON The Huron seventh-grade volleyball team swept Yankton on Monday.
The Tigers won the A-match with set scores of 25-17 and 25-19.
Bentlea Fenske was 13 of 13 serving with six aces for the Tigers. Natasha Vasquez-Morales was 5-8 wth aces, Grace Diede, Javeah Mallett and Quinn Pell each had an ace.
Huron used set scores of 25-22 and 25-18 to win the B-match.
December Chase had five aces on 8 of 10 serving for the Tigers.
Kiera Hansen was 9 of 11 with 4 aces, while Moora Htoo had four asceson 6 of 9 serves and Angie Marin Gonzalez was 9 of 10 with three aces.
Huron claimed the C-match with scores of 25-22 and 25-23.
Medley Jenson was 12 of 17 serving with nine aces for the Tigers, while Willow Katz had three aces on 3 of 7 serving.
