IROQUOIS The Iroquois School District is hosting homecoming festivities throughout the week next week.
The week will begin with coronation on Monday at 7 p.m.
Thursdays home volleyball game against Sunshine Bible Academy will be the districts annual Dig Pink Night. The Iroquois area County-line crew cancer walk team will be fundraising that evening for the Kingsbury County 2026 walk.
Friday, Oct. 10, at 2:30 p.m. will be the homecoming pareade with the theme, Around the World.
Before the football game, the 2026 Post Prom committee is hosting a pulled pork dinner. For $7, attendees can get a sandwich, chips and a bottle of water. An extra sandwich is available for an additional $4.
The homecoming football game will take place Friday at 7 p.m. against Oldham/Ramona/Rutland.
During the week, students will have the opportunity to participate in themed dress-up days. Monday will be Meme Monday in the middle school and high school while the elementary will have pajama day.
Tuesday is Merica day; Wednesday is wacky Wednesday. Thursday is holiday in the elementary and white lies in the middle and high school. Friday is Shark spirit day.
