MILLER Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central, which is ranked No. 3 in Class 11B, recorded a 33-0 shutout against Miller/Highmore-Harrold on Friday.
Luke Larson passed for a pair of touchdowns and rushed for a pair of touchdowns to lead the Bucks to their sixth win in as many outings. He was 9 of 16 passing for 119 yards and carried the ball eight times for 101 yards.
Hauling in touchdown catches for W/WS/SC were Dawson Baye-Larson and Colby Flowers.
Baye-Larson had two catches for 51 yards, while Flowers had a pair of catches for 30 yards.
Wesley Molnar tallied 85 yards rushing on 17 carroes and had a touchdown for the Bucks, while Nathan Gaikowski had eight carries for 55 yards.
Defensively, Flowers and Carson Finn each had six tackles and a sack. Hunter Fenske had four tackles and a sack, while Molnar had an interception.
Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central plays at Chamberlain on Friday. Miller/Highmore-Harrold, which is now 1-5, will face Mt. Vernon/Plankinton in Mt. Vernon on Friday.
