HURON The holiday season will shine a little brighter this year as the community gathers for the Vintage Christmas Parade of Lights, returning to its original route along Dakota Avenue on Thursday, November 28, at 7:00 p.m.
Festivities will begin with a Christmas tree lighting at Veterans Park, setting a nostalgic tone for an evening filled with twinkling lights, holiday music, and vintage charm. The beloved parade promises a dazzling lineup of floats and community entries celebrating the magic of Christmas past and present.
Parade entries are now open on the Chamber website, inviting local businesses, organizations, and families to participate. This years event will feature several award categories, including Most Creative, Most Humorous, and Best Portrayal of the Theme, encouraging participants to let their imaginations and holiday spirit shine.
Spectators are encouraged to line Dakota Avenue early to enjoy the festive displays and cheer on the participants. Whether youre part of a float, marching with a group, or simply there to take in the sights, the Vintage Christmas Parade of Lights is sure to fill everyone with holiday cheer.
