South Dakotas annual NAMI convention was held Thursday and Friday at the Huron Event Center.
On Thursday, the keynote speaker was former KELO reporter Angela Kennecke, speaking on access to addiction services and removing stigma surrounding substance abuse treatment.
She was representing Emilys Hope, named after her daughter.
