Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 0
HITCHCOCK Hitchcock-Tulare used a sweep against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket to secure its fourth straight win on Tuesday.

The Lady Patriots, who are ranked No. 5 in Class B, improved 24-4 overall and 5-1 in the 281 Conference. They won the match with set scores of 25-20, 25-23 and 25-20.

Rebecca Huizenga and Cora Hofer both had eight kills for Hitchcock-Tulare. Huizenga was 22 of 24 attacking, while Hofer was 26 of 32. Emmerie Arthurs added seven kills on on 23 of 25 attacks.

Arthurs also had four aces on 9 of 11 serving for the Lady Patriots. Olivia Knox was 15 of 15 serving with an ace, while Gracyn Bixler was 16 of 18 with an ace and Avarie Estey was 13 of 14 with an ace.

Bixler was 107 of 114 setting with 26 assists for Hitchcock-Tulare. Cambree Hoekman and Arthurs had 16 and 15 digs, respectively, while Hofer had two solo and two assisted blocks.

Liz Boschee led Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (17-8) with 12 kills, while Adison Bartholow had seven kills. Addy Baruth and Kali Hofer had 11 and nine assists, respectively.

Kenzie Baruth and Bartholow each had an ace serve for the Lady Blackhawks. Hudson Fouberg and Bartholow had 30 and 17 digs, respectively.

Wolsey-Wessington 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0
MILLER Wolsey-Wessington recorded a sweep in a 281 Conference matchup against Sunshine Bible Academy on Tuesday.

The Lady Warbirds claimed the match with set scores of 25-12, 25-3 and 25-12.

Maria Nelson was 21 of 25 attacking with 14 kills to lead Wolsey-Wessington, which improved to 22-5 overall and 7-0 in the conference. Timber Haeder was 10 of 10 with four kills, while Preslie Jensen was 12 of 12 with three kills.

Kendal Uttecht had six aces on 11 of 12 serving for the Lady Warbirds, while Shae Uttecht had four aces on 28 of 28 serving. Lily Toupal was 16 of 16 serving.

Kendal Uttecht converted on 61 of 61 sets and had 26 assists, while Shae Uttecht had 17 digs.

Ciera Mickelson was 26 of 33 hitting with three kills for Sunshine Bible Academy. Kalyn Sarchet was perfect on four serves with four aces, while Soliel Mickelson was 9 of 14 with three kills.

Ciera Mickelson was 7 of 8 serving with an ace, while Soleil Mickelson was 3 of 4 serving with an ace. Sarchet finished with four assists on 33 of 35 setting and Breanna Thieman had three assists on 12 of 13 setting.

Dakota Boersma and Cierra Mickelson had 11 and 10 digs, respectively, for the Crusaders, who are now 4-20 overall and 0-7 in the 281. Tess Hinman had nine digs, while Ciera Mickelson had two solo and an assisted block.

De Smet 3, Castlewood 2
DE SMET With a 15-8 win in the fifth set, De Smet emerged with a 3-2 victory against Castlewood on Tuesday.

Castlewood opened the match with a 25-20 win, but the Lady Bulldogs rebounded with wins of 25-15 an 25-22 to build a 2-1 lead. Castlewood forced the fifth set with a 25-19 win to even things up at 2-2.

Hazel Luethmers had 23 kills to lead De Smet, which is now 15-11. Brooke Jennings had eight kills, while Ivey Schoenfelder and Audi Currier each had seven kills.

Megan Dylla had a team-high 39 assists and an ace serve for the Lady Bulldogs. Jennings and Dylla had 17 and 16 digs, respectively, while Harper Anderson had 15 digs and Aubree Blue had 14 digs.

Luethmers had seven of the 13 blocks for De Smet.

Claire Horn led Castlewood with 18 kills. She also had two aces, while Cassidy Kirwan also had a pair of aces. Cydni Kudrna had 48 assists.

Kirwan finished with 24 digs for the Warriors, who are now 11-10, while Nora Solberg had 20 digs.

Highmore-Harrold 3, Lyman 0
HIGHMORE Highmore-Harrold improved to 14-11 with a sweep against Lyman on Tuesday.

Jada Baloun and Addison McDonnell each had eight kills for the Pirates. Baloun was 25 of 27 attacking, while McDonnell was 17 of 20.

McDonnell was also 17 of 17 serving with four aces for Highmore-Harrold, while Carley Stephenson was 15 of 16 with an ace. Stephenson alson was 35 of 35 setting with 12 assists, while Tenley McDonnell was 34 of 36 setting with 10 assists.

Tenley McDonnell and Lainee Ping had 17 and 15 digs, respectively, for the Pirates. Emma Ferens had a solo and an assisted block, while Jaylee Fallis had a pair of block asssists.

Lyman, which is now 16-11, was led by Jordyn Scott with 10 kills, nine digs and two blocks. Brooke Montgomery and Kenzie Wagner each had four kills.

Bree Smart had three aces and 16 assists for the Raiders.
