HURON Blair Myron Meyers, age 75, of Huron, passed away on October 12, 2025, at Avera St. Lukes in Aberdeen.
Blair was born in Huron on March 13, 1950, to Bernard and Marie Meyers. He joined the Navy during Vietnam, served two years and was honorably discharged in 1968.
Blair loved hunting and fishing and did so until his health deteriorated. He loved his pets, and they loved him. He helped his neighbors by mowing lawns and clearing snow out of the goodness of his heart.
Blair met his wife Sheryl in 1983, married in 1992, and they lived together in the house he was born in.
Blair is survived by his wife Sheryl, daughter Jeni, estranged daughter Lona, sister Karolyn, niece Kris, nephew David and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
Blair was preceded in death by parents Bernard and Marie Meyers, infant daughter Amy and brother-in-law Gary DeShazer.
He donated his body to the school of medicine at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. There is no scheduled memorial at this time.
