WATERTOWN — Huron’s eighth-grade boys’ basketball team earned one win against Watertown on Tuesday.
The lone victory for the Tigers was a 29-27 win in the B-game.
Hosea Lay, Daniel Shee and Oliver Steele each had six points for Huron.
Watertown won the A-game 39-25.
Austin Ahtoo led the Tigers with eight points, while Noah Carr had six points.
The Arrows also won the C-game 39-27.
Brandon Reyes had 12 points for Huron, while Cruz Metzger and William Carrera each had five points.
Watertown swept the Huron seventh-grade team in three games.
The Arrows won 54-24 in the A-game.
Max Bartholow had 13 points for the Tigers, while Logan Goehner finished with five points.
Watertown won the B-game 41-13.
Dah Si had six points for Huron, while Beckett Teveldal had three points.
In the C-game, the Arrows won 35-17.
Clayton Mattke had seven points for the Tigers, while Kellan Tarasoff-Ball had five points.
Huron vs. Brookings
Huron had its lone win against Brookings Feb. 19 with a 27-19 victory in the seventh-grade C-game.
Dylan Wilsef and Kellan Tarasoff had nine and eight points, respectively, for the Tigers.
Brookings won the A-game 39-17.
Oakley Korkow had nine points for Huron, while Austin Soward and Logan Goehner each had four points.
The Bobcats claimed a 45-27 victory in the B-game.
Dah Si had 11 points for the Tigers and Jaxson Tounsley had 10 points.
Brookings swept the Huron eighth-graders in three games.
The Bobcats cruised to a 56-7 win in the A-game.
Laken Van Zee had three points to lead the Tigers, while Deklan Harrington and Oliver Steele each had two points.
Brookings edged Huron 33-20 in the B-game.
Daniel Shee and Austin Htoo had eight and seven points, respectively, for the Tigers. Noah Carr had five points.
The Bobcats tallied a 39-28 victory in the C-game.
Hosea Lay had nine points to lead Huron, while Charleston Wachter had eight points and Shee had five points.
