HURON –– Dale Fuehrer, age 72, of Huron, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Avantara – Huron.
His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, at the Kuhler Funeral Home.
Visitation with family present will be held from 12 to 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, at Kuhler Funeral Home.
Dale Fuehrer was born December 12, 1953, to Helmuth and Lucille (Rober) Fuehrer, at Huron. He grew up in the Huron area and graduated from Huron High School.
All of his life, Dale worked in construction; first for his father, Helmuth, hauling gravel and then later Dale took over the construction business from Helmuth.
Later in life, Dale married Julie Matthews. To this union, Kelsey was born on December 9, 1994.
Dale enjoyed following his grandchildren’s activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his daughter, Kelsey Fuehrer of Huron; his grandchildren, Jackson Dale Fuehrer, Stellen and Cecillia Standefer; his brother, Brian Fuehrer of Huron; and his sister, Anne Fuehrer of Sioux Falls.
