WATERTOWN — Using a 36-34 victory in double overtime against Mitchell, the Huron seventh-grade boys’ basketball team finished third in the Big 4 Tournament on Thursday.
Austin Soward and Dah Si each had nine points for the Tigers, while Oakley Korkow and Max Bartholow each had eight points.
Si scored the final four points to secure the victory for Huron.
Brookings recorded a 32-11 victory against the Tigers in the opening round. Korkow had nine points for Huron.
Eighth-grade
Huron’s eighth-grade boys’ basketball team finished fourth in the Big 4 Tournament on Thursday.
Brookings recorded a 67-13 win against the Tigers in the opening round.
Huron was led by Austin Htoo with four points.
Watertown won 55-45 against the Tigers in the third-place game.
Htoo had 17 points to lead Huron, while Lake Van Zee and Deklan Harrington each had nine points.
The Big 4 Tournament concluded the season for the Huron Middle School teams.
