Huron’s Heinz named to All-ESD team

HURON — Senior Hylton Heinz was the lone selection for the Huron Tigers to the All-Eastern South Dakota Conference girls’ basketball team for the 2025-26 season.

Also named to the All-ESD girls’ team were junior Lauryn Burckhard and senior Taryn Hermansen of Aberdeen Central; seniors Alyvia Padgett and Gracie Salter of Brandon Valley; junior Logan Durnil of Harrisburg; Eighth-grader CeCe Morgan and senior Addie Siemsen of Mitchell; freshman Jayna VanLaecken of Tea Area; and junior Eden Wolfgram of Yankton.

Receiving honorable mention were seniors Ava Kellenberger of Brandon Valley and Emery Larson of Pierre.
