Women from across the region will have the opportunity to gather for a day of inspiration, wellness, and connection at the upcoming EmpowerHer event on March 14, 2026, held at the Huron Community Campus. Designed as a retreat-style experience, the event focuses on supporting and uplifting women through movement, personal growth, and meaningful community connections.
EmpowerHer is a community-driven event created to encourage women to show up fully—just as they are. By bringing together local businesses, leaders, and community members, the event aims to invest in women’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being while creating a space where encouragement and confidence can grow.
Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m., with programming continuing throughout the day and concluding around 4:30 p.m. The event will end with a social hour where attendees can relax, connect, and continue conversations sparked from during the day.
A highlight of the event will be keynote speaker Liz Carlson, a professional speaker known for delivering engaging and motivating presentations. Carlson will lead sessions in both the morning and afternoon, sharing insights that encourage women to recognize their strengths and support one another in their personal and professional journeys. In the afternoon session, she will be joined by 3 panelists: Dr. Storm, Susan Searing, and Crystal Lein. Sponsored by Ace Realty.
In addition to keynote sessions, attendees will be able to visit “Zen Stations” throughout the day—spaces designed to promote relaxation, reflection, and wellness.
Guests will start the morning with a beverage from Don’t Spill the Beans or Medi’s Juices, sponsored by 605 Title Company and 1st Stop Insurance, enjoy lunch prepared by Casey’s Kitchen, sponsored by HRMC and conclude the day with a social hour featuring Cornerpost Winery and light refreshments, sponsored by Cornerstone Financial and Mercy Thai restaurant.
Organizers say the heart behind EmpowerHer is to create a space where women can pause from their busy lives, invest in themselves, and leave feeling refreshed and inspired. With sponsors like Ryan Maxsted, HAWBL, and the Salty, Sun, and Sauna believing in giving to our community, we know this event will make an impact on the attendees.
“EmpowerHer is about supporting one another and building confidence together,” organizers said. “When women gather with the intention to grow and encourage each other, the impact reaches far beyond a single day. Empowering Ourselves to Empower Others.
Tickets are available for individuals, and groups also have the option to reserve a table to attend together. Community members interested in attending or supporting the event are encouraged to reach out to the event organizers for more information. Laurie Smith of Ace Realty, Janel Honke of 1st National Bank and Tabitha Carr at Salty, Sun and Sauna are available to answer questions.
