HURON –– Through a partnership with Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) and South Dakota State University (SDSU) Extension, a Better Choices, Better Health ® SD (BCBH-SD) Diabetes Workshop will be offered to anyone living with prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.
The workshop is free of charge and will be held every Tuesday evening from 5:30-6:30 p.m., for six weeks, beginning March 17. The in-person workshops will be held at the HRMC Legacy Plaza Auditorium in Classroom 107.
The BCBH-SD program was brought to Huron by the HRMC community liaison program, which strives to build relationships and connect patients to local services, bridge the gaps to accessing healthcare, and help the community reach optimal health.
